Kibitz is a free, browser-based way to be side by side over anything on your screen — with anyone, even agentic AI. No accounts, no installs, no app to download — share a link and you're together. Voice, video and screen-sharing are built in, peer-to-peer.
Media is direct peer-to-peer WebRTC, encrypted end-to-end with DTLS-SRTP. When two networks can't connect directly, an encrypted TURN relay forwards the call but cannot decrypt it. There is no SFU or media server that decodes, mixes, or records your call. A signaling server is used only to introduce two browsers to each other (a temporary peer id, the room name from your link, and network candidates) — it never sees call content.
Your name and preferences stay in your browser's local storage. No analytics, no tracking cookies, no ads.
Direct calls are free. For the strict networks that can't connect directly, an at-cost relay (priced to cover bandwidth only, no markup) is planned.
